Biography
Dr. Shrey M. Kanjiya is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship trained in advanced minimally invasive arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. Dr. Kanjiya earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach where he achieved magna cum laude honors in Biology and Physiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont.
Dr. Kanjiya completed his orthopedic surgical residency at the State University of New York, Stony Brook Medical Center. He was awarded the resident of the year in 2017 and was selected to serve as the administrative chief resident. Dr. Kanjiya elected to further his education and training by completing a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the distinguished Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
Dr. Kaniya was the assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Galaxy, and the San Diego Gulls. Dr. Kanjiya has numerous contributions to peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Kanjiya is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS).
